Durbanville skipper Fritz de Beer led from the front after being inserted, batting through the innings to score an undefeated 132 trhat included two sixes and 17 fours.
Jean Strydom was the other half of a Durbanville 191-run opening stand, scoring 85 runs of his own.
Durbanville number three bat Rubin Senekal added the finishing touches to his side’s big total, contributing an unbeaten 41 off just 33 balls faced.
Seamer Tashwin Lukas then demolished Cape Town’s middle order by taking 4-14 in his first six overs, crushing any small hope of Cape Town challenging their total.
Mathew Goles fought a lone battle for Cape Town, scoring a run-a-ball 67 in an innings in which no-one else reached 20.
Opening bowler Jody Lawrence then cleaned up the tail to bag three scalps and close out a big Durbanville win.
