Left-arm spinner Asakhe Tsaka quickly turned matters in UWC’s favour though, taking 3-20 in his four overs to smother Cape Town’s momentum. Justin Gilliland battled on for Cape Town in the middle overs as wickets fell regularly at the other end, grafting out a 32-ball knock of 22. UWC opening bat Quintin Dreyer hit a fluent 36 from 34 balls, adding 74 in 9½ overs for the second wicket with his captain to secure victory. UWC skipper Kai Curran secured the bonus-point win for his side, hitting an undefeated 58 from 42 balls that included just three fours but no fewer than 16 twos!
