Nick Barlow upped the ante still further in the middle overs, contributing 26 from 13 balls to set WPCC up for a big finish.

Cape Town opening bowler Darren Rolfe had the last laugh in the WPCC innings – albeit right at the end – as he picked up three for one in his final over to finish with a four-for.
Imraan Mohamed acquitted himself very well in his first match for the Cape Town First XI in almost a year, taking 2/24 from his four overs.
Opening bat Mathew Goles hit 26 from 20 balls at the start of the Cape Town run chase, but fell too early to prevent the asking rate from spiraling ever upwards.
Fletcha Middleton was looking good for Cape Town as he moved to 33 from 33 balls, but he too fell too soon in pursuit of an always-increasing asking rate.
WPCC opening bowler Kyle Klein effectively settled the issue in favour of his side, taking three wickets in four balls in the 17th over to decimate the Cape Town middle order.
Cape Town’s keeper Nathan Schultz fought the good fight until the end though, personally taking 28 runs off the final two overs to reach his maiden fifty for the side.
