James Crowson struck 20 at the top of the Cape Town reply, but his dismissal triggered a large-scale collapse.
As he had in the first encounter between the sides, Irish seamer David O’Halloron cleaned up the Cape Town middle in quick measure with three scalps in his first 19 deliveries.
Left-arm spinner Luke Stevens further drove home Rondebosch’s dominance with three low-cost wickets of his own.
